Hi, I'm Holly — and animals have been the centre of my world for as long as I can remember. I'm a experienced dog care professional with over ten years of hands-on experience working with dogs and animals of all kinds, across multiple charities and rescue organisations.
"I spent a decade caring for animals who needed it most — but I always dreamed of creating something more personal, more intimate, and more like a real home. That's exactly what The Cosy Pup Inn is."
Throughout my charity career, I've worked at busy centres caring for up to 20 dogs a day — managing everything from daily care and socialisation to supporting anxious rescue dogs through difficult transitions. I've seen what excellent animal care looks like, and I've seen what it isn't.
That experience taught me one thing above all else: dogs thrive when they feel safe, loved and truly at home. Large kennels and busy facilities can never fully replicate the warmth and calm of a real family home. That's why I started The Cosy Pup Inn with my partner.
By keeping our numbers deliberately small — just 3 to 4 dogs at a time — every dog in our care gets the individual, genuine attention they deserve. This isn't a business to us. It's a calling.
We made a deliberate choice to create something completely different to a commercial kennel or busy day care facility. Our home is warm, calm and welcoming — genuinely set up with dogs in mind.
At the heart of it is our lovely garden — fully enclosed with high, secure fencing. A completely safe space where dogs can run, sniff, explore and play freely without any concern.
Inside, dogs enjoy cosy beds, familiar comforts and the run of a real home. We follow each dog's individual routine as closely as possible. And of course — Holly's own beloved dogs are part of the family too.
